About Copper
Copper is a sweet old man looking to live out the rest of his days in a loving home. Copper was found as a stray in a campground in the Delta when he wandered up to some good people looking for food. Copper is easy to love. He draws you in with his sweet face and affinity for cuddles. We’re not sure of his past, but we’re doing the best we can to make up for it in the time he has left with lots of TLC, good medical care and nutritious food. Copper has gotten along well with every other dog he’s met and seems to enjoy their company. Copper has an inoperable liver mass that makes him a hospice dog. In addition, he suffers from doggy dimentia which causes some confusion and aloofness, but at the heart of it all, Copper is as sweet as can be. While he doesn’t ask for much, Copper likely wasn’t house trained as a pup and needs someone who is patient and willing to work around his potty schedule. Otherwise, he is as happy as can be in the company of his humans and going on short walks.
