Meet Katie! This sweet girl came into our care March 2026 after her owner could no longer care for her. She is a little bit shy until she is petted and realizes she's safe with you. Katie is a big fan of being brushed (which she does need often) and loves when her cheeks, lower back, and head is scratched. More often than not, miss Katie drools when she's given attention -- but don't worry, it's a sign she enjoys it! Katie isn't very big on playing, but she does enjoy catnip every now and then! She loves treats, especially when those treats are lickable ones. Katie is good with other cats but is fairly submissive, so she would need a cat friend who will not bully her as she won't stand up for herself. We believe she may be okay with dogs who are quiet, but she gets overwhelmed with loud and hyper dogs. She is great with children who are gentle with her. Katie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
