About Smokey

Meet Smokey! This sweet, shy girl joined us when her previous owners couldn't take her along during a move. Life in the shelter has proven difficult for her, and she longs for a quiet home where she can feel safe. Smokey can be nervous and doesn’t show well in her kennel, but with patience and love, she blossoms into a wonderful companion. She particularly enjoys tasty snacks, like lickable Churu treats and canned wet food. While playing isn't her favorite pastime, she does enjoy the occasional crinkly ball toy when she thinks no one is looking. Smokey tends to be scared of new things, but she may thrive with another calm cat in her home. We're unsure how she feels about dogs, but it’s likely she wouldn’t appreciate a loud or hyper canine companion. She does well with gentle, calm children who know how to give her space. Smokey is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and microchipped. Give Smokey the chance to flourish in a loving home. Your next best friend is just a click away!
