This sweet boy absolutely lives for love and attention—give him a little affection, and he’ll happily ask for more (and more!). He’s a total cuddle bug who truly believes he’s a lap dog, and he’s always ready to shower you with kisses. Sunny is happiest when he’s with his people. He’ll follow you from room to room, just wanting to be part of whatever you’re doing. He also loves having a cozy place to call his own—his crate has always been his safe space, and he’ll often go relax there on his own with the door open. Every now and then, Sunny gets the zoomies—and at 77 lbs, it’s a sight to see! He’s a fun, joyful pup who enjoys the simple things in life, like soaking up the sunshine, lounging by the pool, and playing with the hose (he’ll try to “catch” the water like it’s his favorite toy!). Food is definitely the way to Sunny’s heart. He’ll be your loyal kitchen companion, patiently waiting by your feet and happily helping with any dropped snacks. Sunday mornings are his favorite—especially when eggs are on the menu! Sunny has done wonderfully with children and has been a loving, happy presence in his home. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and soak up the sun. He would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
