The duo were rescued from a high kill shelter in Houston, where they quickly became staff favorites due to their sweet and affectionate disposition. 🐶❤️ Zane is 3 years old 63 lb heartthrob with a full package — sweet, calm and full of love! He is pure sunshine in dog form. ☀️ Rascal is a 2-year-old, 47-lb lovebug with a playful spirit. In his foster home, Rascal loves running around the yard, play with his toys or play his favorite game "fetch", and finding new “projects” to keep himself entertained and always ready for the next adventure, Zane and Rascal are both neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. They are currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care.
