About Estelle

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Estelle is a sweet and gentle terrier with a heartwarming story. Weighing about 10 lbs and estimated to be around 5 years old, this little dog is looking forward to a peaceful new chapter now that her mothering days are behind her. At first, Estelle was quite shy and scared in her foster home, but as she’s adjusted she’s become affectionate—she now sleeps on the bed and loves to ask for pets. Even at her most timid, she never attempted to bite. Estelle is still working on her house training and currently uses puppy pads, showing steady progress. She does chase cats, but only in play and means them no harm. She adores other dogs and now lives happily with dogs of all sizes, so it’s important that her next home has a friendly, well-socialized dog to help build her confidence. A fenced-in yard would also be beneficial for her as she continues to blossom. Estelle is spayed, microchipped, regularly dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations and monthly flea/heartworm prevention. She’s ready to bring her sweet spirit into a loving forever home that understands her need for support and companionship. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped before adoption. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Asheville, NC.
