About Scribble
Scribble is a gentle young pit bull mix who arrived at the shelter as a county transfer at about a year old and weighing around 50 lbs. Recently vaccinated and neutered, he tested negative for heartworm, Lyme, and ecanis, so his health is off to a good start. Scribble showed some shyness during his first photo session—the loud dog runs and unfamiliar people put him on edge—but he’s proven to be a genuinely nice dog day-to-day. His black and white coat is easy to care for, and the short fur keeps grooming simple. He gets along well with other dogs, making him a solid candidate for multi-dog households, but he’s still adjusting to all the shelter commotion. Scribble hasn’t learned to be house trained yet, so he’ll need patience and consistency in a new home. His temperament is calm, good-natured, and affectionate once he’s comfortable. He’s looking for someone willing to put in the time to help him settle in and reach his potential. Your new best friend is just one click away.
