Leana came into rescue under tough circumstances—thin, pregnant, heartworm positive, and abandoned. Once she made it to her foster home, she gave birth to nine healthy puppies, all of whom have found their families. Leana then underwent treatment for heartworm and is now spayed and vaccinated. She’s likely a Pit Bull/Beagle mix, about medium size, and absolutely brimming with personality. Her playful side comes out with Nylabones, toys, fetch, and daily walks.
