Snickers (A141227) is a 6-month-old Hound mix who weighed nearly 33.8 pounds on intake and is a growing boy! 04/02/26 Snickers, previously known as Jackson, is back at the shelter and looking for his right fit to call home! He was sadly a bit too rambunctious/rowdy for the small child in the home and did not realize his size. He would do best in a home without children under 12 to help set him up for success. He did great with the older children in the home but again was noted to have a rough style of play. Snickers gets along great with other dogs but is looking for a home without small critters that he may be tempted to chase. Snickers was said to be a very smart puppy and has been taking classes at Pawsitive training! He already has sit and lay down mastered (especially with treat motivation)! Snickers was also said to be kennel-trained and housebroken! He is a smart boy looking for a family to love that can keep him stimulated as he ages! Jackson arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new place to call home and family to love! In typical puppy fashion, he will need continued help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. He is a smart boy looking for an owner who has the time to devote to him. Puppies are a lot of work but worth the reward! Since he arrived with us as a stray, we do not know his experience level around children or other pets. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new potential friends.
