About Evander

This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet Evander – the ultimate wiggle-butt gentle giant ready to win your heart! Evander exudes joy and warmth from the moment you meet him; his infectious wiggling butt and muscular frame are paired with the softest, sweetest heart. Though he's a big boy, Evander is especially gentle with children and currently shares his space with a 5-year-old, making him a fantastic companion for families. He is deeply loyal and bonds quickly with his people, thriving on being part of day-to-day life, from walks to learning new tricks. Evander is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and crate trained, plus he knows a bunch of impressive commands. He has lovely manners—no food or toy guarding here—and though baths aren't his favorite, he's patient through them. Affection and attentiveness are his trademarks, and he walks well on leash after a moment to settle in. Evander does best with medium or large dogs but isn’t suited to homes with cats or small dogs. He would flourish either as a solo dog or alongside canine friends his own size. If you’re looking for a dog who is part clown, part cuddle buddy, Evander may be your perfect match.
