Meet Cassandra! 🐾💕 Cassandra is a 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who is as sweet as they come. She was sadly owner released due to her previous owner having health issues, not because of anything she did wrong. In fact, her former owner described her as a "perfect dog," and after spending time with her, we can absolutely see why. Cassandra has a gentle, loving personality and is incredibly sweet with everyone she meets. She also loves other dogs and enjoys their company, making her a wonderful companion in a home with canine friends. While we don't know for certain how she does with cats or kids, her calm and affectionate nature makes us think she would likely do very well with children. This lovely girl weighs about 60 pounds and might benefit from a little diet and some regular exercise--but that just means more walks, playtime, and bonding with her new family. Once you meet her, you'll quickly see she's the kind of dog who will love you with her whole heart. Cassandra is heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccinations including rabies, spayed, and microchipped, so she is completely ready to go home with her forever family. All Cassandra needs now is someone willing to open their heart and home to her.
