John is a handsome 2 year old tabby boy who’s still learning to feel safe. He came from a difficult situation where multiple cats were left behind, and while he was cared for at one point, life became very uncertain for him. John is shy and was considered one of the more “feral” cats, but he has shown no aggression, just fear. Aside from an occasional hiss when overwhelmed, he prefers to quietly retreat and observe. He’s looking for a patient adopter and a quiet home where he can build trust at his own pace. John may not be a cuddle cat right away, but with time and kindness, he has the potential to truly blossom. John doesn’t need perfection he just needs someone willing to believe in him.
