Surrendered after an accident her previous owner couldn't afford, Mandy’s resilience shines through—really, she acts years younger than her 9. She spends her days playing with toys and eyeing critters outside from her cat tree perch, and she isn’t shy about checking out the kitchen sink either (yes, she’s still learning some boundaries). Evening is her favorite time to settle in beside you for TV or a nice brushing, and if you’re not careful, you’ll be gifted a few sandpaper kisses. Mandy is managing mild kidney disease with a high-quality canned food diet, and her recent bloodwork has significantly improved since her diet change. She’s lived with multiple cats before—she tolerates one-on-one feline roommates, but she won’t be found cuddling with them; her humans get all of her affection.
