Tawny is a stunning girl who was surrendered to us when her dad became ill and could no longer care for her. Tawny has been immensely loved in her life, and now she is in search of a new forever family that will do the same. Tawny needs a home willing to give her time to adjust, she can be timid in new places and frightened easily. But, if given time to acclimate (about 2 weeks we've found) she does amazing! Tawny loves a good head rub. She is a chirpy little cat who will let you know when she wants affection! Tawny lived previously in a home with another cat and did well. Currently in her foster home, she does well with respectful, calm cats, dogs and rabbits. Tawny was declawed in her previous home, we as a rescue do not condone or recommend declawing. Tawny is: - Vaccinated (Rabies and FVRCP) - Flea/tick treated - Dewormed -Spayed - Declawed ACAR is a foster based rescue dedicated to giving pets a second chance. By being foster based it allows for optimal socialization with other pets, people and home life. Any interested adopters are required to fill out an application. All other pets in the home must be up to date on core vaccinations and established with a current veterinarian. ACAR cats must go to indoor only homes and are to never be declawed.
