Mama is a two-year-old domestic shorthair, friendly and affectionate with a clear love for people. She came in as an owner surrender with seven kittens, and now that her babies have all found homes, it’s her turn. Mama has been spayed, is FeLV/FIV negative, vaccinated, wormed, and flea treated. She prefers her own space when it comes to other cats, but did previously live with a large dog and seemed to do just fine. Older children are a good fit for her affectionate style. Mama needs to be indoors only, and her adopter must agree never to declaw her. Standard rescue requirements apply: Everyone in the home must have their pets spayed/neutered and vaccinated. Applicants should be over 18 and ready to provide vet or personal references, with landlord approval if renting. Home visits may be part of the approval process.
