Thank you for your interest in adopting. All of our dogs live in Alabama Foster homes and Transport after they are adopted. We have been working with northeast and New England families for over 15 years. We strive to make every adoption as smooth and easy as possible. Every pet is spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchip, and they receive parasite prevention. Dogs that are heartworm tested and receive treatment, the information is disclosed and every pet arrives with their medical records. Sunny is estimated to be 12 weeks old on April 2, 2025. He weighs about 12 pounds. We expect him to grow to a medium sized dog, what we don't expect him to grow over 45 pounds. We are guessing on two possible breeds in his DNA. Most mixed breed dogs have over six breeds in their DNA. We DNA tested a small dog last year that had 25 breeds and one percent wolf! A garbage truck worker found Sunny on the side of the road when he was about six weeks old, sleeping in a pile of garbage. Sunny lives in a Foster Home with a working couple, adult dogs, another puppy, and cats. He is a smart and active puppy. He would do well with an active family that wants to include their dog in their activities. He would be wonderful for someone that would walk him, although he needs help with the leash training at this page. If your application is approved to adopt Sunny, you will be put in touch with his Foster home for video, chat, FaceTime, so that you can see Sunny in real time and get to know your puppy.
