What we do know is that she landed on death row at just three months old… and somehow still greets the world like it owes her a toy. She doesn’t have a front foot. And she absolutely does not care. Joci uses her little stump like a pro. She runs. She plays. She hops. She wrestles. She zooms. She has zero interest in feeling sorry for herself, and frankly, neither do we. We are not removing the leg because she uses it beautifully just as it is. The shelter listed her as a retriever mix, and at 17 pounds and 3 months old, she’s likely going to be a medium-sized girl. She’s already spayed (yes, this overachiever is ahead of schedule) and ready to start her real life.
