Volunteers say he's a sweet, social guy who greets everyone like an old friend. Dewey already knows “sit” and is eager to learn more. With his smart mind and desire to please, he'd thrive with a family who enjoys walks, playtime, and continuing his training. Despite being heartworm positive, Dewey's story is far from over. Heartworms are very treatable, and he deserves the chance to heal in a loving home instead of a kennel. This strong, handsome young dog has so much life and love to give. All he needs now is someone willing to give him the chance he deserves.
