Meet Shane This handsome 2-year-old, 72-lb sweetheart has already been through more than he should. Shane came into the shelter with a terribly embedded collar, but despite the pain he endured, his spirit is nothing but love. Volunteers say Shane is a big love bug who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. He's friendly with all the dogs he's met and happily soaks up every bit of attention he can get. If you sit down, don't be surprised if Shane leans right in for cuddles — it's his favorite thing. He's the kind of dog who forgives the past and is ready to give his whole heart to someone new. All he needs now is a safe, loving home where he'll never hurt again.
