Meet Sammie Breed: Shar Pei/Pittie mix Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Adult Weight: 49 lbs Fun fact: He’s an easy going guy, he wakes up every day ready for whatever comes his way Foster home: New Glarus, WI Activity level: Low Friendly with: Dogs, Cats and Kids Sleep style: Couch during the day and a dog bed at night (he LOVES being tucked into a blanket at night, so sweet!) Meals: 1.5 cups mix of raw, canned and freeze dried foods twice daily Medical needs: Dental cleaning (ADL will cover cost), some potential allergies managed with diet/baths Meds: None but does benefit from herbs ($20/month) and should be on a raw diet to keep his allergies from flaring up Snore-o-meter: 1/10 Bark-o-meter: 1/10 Shedding meter: 1/10, he’s looking to grow more fur :) Best feature: His Tostito chip ears and those soulful eyes Walk out song: Zip A Dee Doo Dah - James Baskett Favorite season: Sammie wears layers in most seasons so he’s looking to tan his hippo body in the summer sun!
