Nova is a beautiful black and white petite medium-haired kitten. Her birthdate is estimated to be 10/10/2025. Nova is affectionate, curious and playful. She gets along with everyone she meets (including children, cats, and dogs). She enjoys spring and wand toys and making biscuits on fuzzy blankets. Upon her spay surgery, the vet discovered Nova was born with one ovary. Further exploration discovered Nova also only has one kidney and a few stones which mostly dissolved with the use of a special prescription diet. Due to her condition, an adopter must strictly adhere to keeping Nova on wet food only for life (Purina wet kitten food until 12 months of age and then possibly back to a Purina prescription wet food for life). The adopter will also need to ensure Nova receives veterinary check-ups with lab work every three months. It will be important to monitor her kidney function throughout her life.
