This 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighs about 10 pounds and has a gentle heart that truly blossoms once she feels safe and loved. Daisy can be a bit shy and anxious when first meeting new people, but give her a little time and patience, and she will quickly show you just how affectionate she really is. Once she warms up, she becomes your little shadow—following you from room to room, curling up in your lap, and soaking up every bit of love and attention she can get. She is doing well with both potty pads and going outside. One thing to note—Daisy does not enjoy being in a crate and can become anxious when confined that way. A playpen setup or a home where she can have more freedom (and, most importantly, her person nearby) will help her feel most comfortable and secure. Daisy was surrendered by her previous owner and is now thriving in foster care, surrounded by other dogs.
