Monica came to the shelter as a stray after being found abandoned on a property and initially required trapping due to her fear of human interaction. She is under-socialized and is still building confidence, including learning how to walk on a leash. Since arriving, she has made progress and is beginning to form trusting relationships with staff and volunteers. Due to her current comfort level, a dog-to-dog evaluation has not been completed, and her history in a home is unknown. Monica will thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who is excited to help her build confidence and discover her personality over time.
