About Merry

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Merry is an energetic 1 1/2 year old female Shepherd who came to the rescue under challenging circumstances after her previous owner could no longer care for her. She was found running loose and was so fearful that it took a Christmas Eve rescue to bring her in—hence her festive name! Merry is a spirited dog bursting with energy and is still learning her manners, so she is looking for a very experienced adopter who can offer patience, consistency, and a calm demeanor, even during her more mischievous moments. With the right person, Merry will become a devoted and loyal companion. Because she is so active and alert, a securely fenced yard is absolutely necessary for her safety and happiness. Currently, Merry weighs around 67 lbs and has a beautiful medium-length black coat. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
