About London
Meet London – Your Very Own Mini Pony with a Heart of Gold! Foster (or Foster-to-Adopter) Urgently Needed!! A few months ago, we took in London. She was found roaming in a neighboring town, but something about that face couldn’t let us say no. Unfortunately, London suffered some sort of accident before coming into our care and has an injury to her hip because of it. We don’t know the history of how this happened but we do know we can change her future. However, in order to change London’s future, we need a committed foster able to take care of of her during her surgery recovery. Her recovery time will be approximately 6-8 weeks. During that time she will need to be separated from other pets and stay relatively low activity. Here's what her current foster has to say, "Looking for a gentle giant with the soul of a snuggler and the stature of a small horse? Meet London, a mini pony in disguise—minus the hay, plus a whole lot of love. This statuesque sweetheart was found as a stray, but she’s quickly traded in her roaming days for belly rubs, big kisses, and dreams of a forever home. She’s got her own twin-size mattress (because regular dog beds are for amateurs), and she’s perfectly content lounging like the majestic creature she is. London is a low-maintenance legend. She’s not destructive, doesn’t chew your stuff, and she’s doing great with her potty training. She walks beautifully on a leash—like a show pony in the ring—and she’s got impeccable house manners. No couch-surfing here; she respects your furniture and prefers her own plush accommodations. Though she has a dislocated hip (with upcoming surgery scheduled), she’s a trooper who gets around just fine, gracefully balancing on her other back leg like a ballerina. She’s been friendly with another dog (slow intros, please!), and she’s open to any human who’s ready to love her—no gender preferences, just good vibes and snacks. London is a big girl with an even bigger heart, and she’s ready to gallop her way into your life and never look back. If you’ve got room in your home—and maybe a little extra square footage for her mattress—London is ready to be your loyal, loving, slightly equine best friend."
