PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally. Meet Chowder! Chowder is approximately 7 months old and 20 lbs currently and he is a beautiful brindle Mutt. Chowder was surrendered and diagnosed with Parvo, but after TLC and treatment he is ready for adoption. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house training, crate training and leash walking. He could join households with dog-savvy kids 5+, and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats. His foster says, "He's curious and loves to play. He settles down when he needs to. He loves to get on my chair and lay on my chest while I'm sitting in the chair and he loves the outdoors. He does bark at the neighbors across the street when they let their dogs out but it's not a loud bark. He is a quick learner." He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in April.
