Meet Jake Jake spent two long years waiting in a Florida shelter without anyone choosing him... so Baypath did. We saw what a special dog he is and brought him all the way to New England because we believe his people are here-and that his wait is finally about to end. Jake is the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home. He loves meeting new people, rides happily in the car like your built-in copilot, and is always ready for a walk followed by a long stretch of cozy couch time. He's affectionate, easygoing, and absolutely convinced he belongs as close to his person as possible (preferably leaning on you-or sitting in your lap if you'll allow it!). He's fully house trained and settles beautifully in the home, making him a wonderful everyday companion. Jake does have some sensitive skin and allergies, which are currently well managed with a prescription diet and medication routine. With that support in place, he's feeling great and ready to focus on the important part: finding his family. Jake didn't find his match in Florida-but that just means his story was waiting to continue here. We truly believe his people are right here in New England, and we can't wait to see him finally head home where he belongs.
