Elder is still available for adoption, and his adoption fee is $300 -- though we are flexible and happy to allow you to name your own adoption fee. He is estimated to be around 12 years old and weighs 15 pounds. He came to us as a stray, and we checked with the city to ensure no one was looking for him. Sadly, no one reclaimed him, and he officially became part of our rescue family. This wonderful old gentleman has been nothing but a joy. Elder is always clean, always sweet, and carries himself with a calm, gentle presence. He gets along beautifully with the other dogs and loves spending time outside soaking up the sunshine. He's the kind of dog who quietly wins your heart without even trying. Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken. Upon intake, every animal receives: Spay/neuter surgery Microchip All age‐appropriate vaccinations Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed) Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
