Dasher is a 4.5 year old brown tabby. He originally came into our care back in 2022. Dasher was adopted back in 2022, but unfortunately, was returned a few months ago due to his previous adopter having some major life changes. Dasher was not a happy camper being back in a shelter. He hid every single day, was very hissy and swatty, and just very anti-social with us. Dasher was returned with another cat, named Ashy. Ashy is a few months older than Dasher. They are best friends, and find great comfort in each other. Just like Dasher, Ashy was also very upset when living in a shelter again. Slowly over time, both Dasher and Ashy have learned to trust us, and now have completely opened up to us. We have discovered that they are both incredibly sweet, affectionate, curious, and friendly cats. We believe Dasher would do best in a home without small children. Dasher and Ashy are bonded, and need to be adopted together. They will be shy and timid at first. And they will hide. But give them time and patience, and you will see how wonderful these two boys really are. They are worth it! And they just want to find their forever home.
