About Gia
Gia is a resilient and affectionate cat who has overcome a tough start. Found nearly frozen at winter's end, she arrived at the rescue skinny and scared. With a lot of patience and care, Gia learned to trust people again—though she still needs some time to warm up to new faces. When she does, she becomes a devoted companion, happily seeking out snuggles and gently rubbing against your legs. Her trust takes a few days, but it's well worth the wait. Gia is food-motivated and easy to win over with treats. She strikes a good balance between affection and independence: sometimes you'll find her lounging in a sunny patch or exploring quietly on her own. When she's ready, she’ll come back for more pets and attention. Gia thrives with other cats and does well with children and dogs, making her a great fit for a multi-pet household. She’d do best with a patient adopter willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Gia is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and current on flea and tick prevention.
