Meet Candy – our adorable scruffy sweetheart! 🐾✨ Candy is truly the whole package; she’s sweet, silly, and full of love. This little girl was found running through traffic in Dinuba, doing her best to survive on her own. After being scanned, reported, and completing her legal stray hold, one of our amazing foster partners stepped in to keep her safe until she made her way to us. Because a foster opened their home, we were able to say yes to saving her and we’re so glad we did. 💛 She is young around 2 years old, 12 lbs. We don’t know her exact breed mix, but our best guess is a Pug or Shih Tzu or Brussels mix—whatever she is, she’s 100% adorable! She has now been fully vetted and spayed, and is on her way to a healthy, happy future. Candy does have a hernia that needs to be repaired. This procedure isn’t cheap, and we’re asking for donations to help cover her medical bill so she can be fully ready for adoption. Every little bit helps get her one step closer to her forever home. 💕 Candy’s Favorite Activities: • Snuggling up close • Rearranging couch pillows (interior design is her passion 😉) • Running in the grass • Being brushed • Snack time (especially canned chicken!) • Playing with toys—bonus points if they crinkle! • Mealtime manners – she may try to join you for dinner if you let her! • Staying busy – she’ll chew nearby items if she gets bored, even with toys around The Best Things About Candy: • Politely takes treats • Gives the gentlest kisses • Eats all her meals like a good girl • Loves being close to her people • Curls up beside you at bedtime • Crate trained & potty trained • Uses a doggy ramp like a pro • Sits calmly for nail trims Things That Make Her a Little Nervous: • Loud noises • Squeaky toys • Hearing neighbors she can’t see Candy would thrive in a loving home that can continue building her confidence, give her structure, and of course… plenty of snuggles.
