Pyper's jog-a-dog adventure 3/5/26: We enjoyed an outing on the trail along the Sacramento River and into and around Old Sacramento. We did intervals of walking and sniffing with easy jogging. She had good stamina, but also appreciated stopping to smell the scents on the trail. She was friendly with people who approached and asked to meet her. When we took a break from walking to sit, she showed her snuggly side, working her way into my lap. It was a joy to spend the morning with her. Pyper is a quiet, gentle, affectionate, curious girl. She walked confidently on the leash but was sure to check in by looking up and seeking assurance all was good.
