About Midge
Hi, my name is Midge! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home: -Personality: Vocal, playful, affectionate -Can Live with Kids: Unknown history - recommending dog savvy kids 6+ at this time. All introductions done at WHS. -Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - slow and supervised introductions always recommended. -Can Live with Dogs: Yes - all introductions done at WHS to ensure everyone gets along. Midge does struggle with respecting other dog's boundaries, so a tolerant dog who can provide appropriate corrections would be best. -Can do Apartment Living: Not ideally - Midge can be vocal and would do best in a home with plenty of space and someone who's home more often than not. Up to counselor's discretion. -Potty Trained: Appears to be -Bite History: No -Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Not required, but could be beneficial in helping her gain confidence! -Energy Level: High -Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, spay/MC. Meet Midge - a silly girl on the lookout for her forever home! Her past is a bit of a mystery, but at WHS she’s made one thing very clear: she’s here to be your goofy, joy-bringing sidekick. With her quirky antics and adorably awkward ways, Midge brings just the right amount of zest (and chaos) to everyday life. She’s always up for playtime - tossing her toys around or offering her own little vocal “reminders” when she thinks it’s time for attention (which is often). And when the zoomies are over, she’s all about the cuddles, resting her head in your lap, scooting in close, and nuzzling like she’s right where she’s meant to be. A little awkward? Definitely. Endlessly sweet? Without a doubt. Midge is ready to bring her big heart and silly charm to a home that will love her just as she is!
