About Teddy
Hi, my name is Teddy! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home: -Personality: Playful, energetic, attentive -Can Live with Kids: Yes - respectful and dog savvy kids of any age should be ok. All introductions done at WHS. -Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - slow and supervised introductions always recommended. -Can Live with Dogs: Yes, Teddy has a very positive history with other dogs as per his previous owner, and has tested well with other dogs at WHS. Any potential canine housemates will need to meet at the shelter first to ensure they're a good match! -Can do Apartment Living: Yes - should be ok with plenty of daily mental and physical stimulation. -Potty Trained: Appears to be -Bite History: No -Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No -Energy Level: Med-High -Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope, good to go! Meet Teddy - an exuberant and playful dog who’s ready to find a forever home. He’s adjusted fairly well to shelter life, but after being moved between several homes in recent months, he’s really looking for consistency. Teddy will do best in a stable environment with a reliable routine and a long-term commitment. He already knows a variety of tricks - sit, down, stay, wait, spin, and even “bang!” - and he’s highly treat motivated (which may explain the few extra pounds). With structure and continued training, he’s more than ready to keep learning! We think that he'd do well in most homes given the time and tools to succeed.
