Easter is a sweet dog who is the true definition of a rescue. She came into rescue from a hoarding situation in AL. She was found living with about 40 other dogs and her owner was not able to keep up with their needs. She looks much better than when she came into rescue but has a ways to go in terms of growing her fur and feeling confident in her skin. Because she hasn't had the normal socialization that most pups get, she will need a patient family that will socialize her to the world and teach her to be confident. She's a little scruffy terrier mix weighing in at about 10 lbs so we will place her in a home with older or no children, due to her size and nervousness, and would not place her with larger, rambunctious dogs as she is so delicate. She's estimated to be about one year old and will make a great companion dog once she feels safe, decompresses, and learns that her needs will always be met. She's currently in AL but will be coming to Maine in mid-May.
