Rosa is small and most comfortable around other small, calm dogs. She will mostly ignore other dogs when she feels overwhelmed, and may bark and growl, then adjusts after a while. Good with cats? When outside walking on a leash, Rosa wants to chase the cats she sees. But, in a house, she seems to leave cats alone or ignore them, and may be a bit afraid of them. She also chases bunnies and may chase other small animals. Good with kids? Rosa is nervous with kids, as she is with any new people, but she is sweet and enjoys being petted and snuggled. Energy level: Low to Medium. She would like to sit by her person most of the day and sleep with them at night. She likes taking walks, going outside, and playing in a yard. She does not seem very interested in toys. Animal Characteristics: Rosa is a sweet, loving cuddle bug who wants to attach strongly to her person. She is shy with new people and in new situations, then warms up with time. She doesn’t love being picked up and will try to run away, but accepts it eventually. Rosa would prefer just to sit by you, relax, and keep you company. She is potty trained, and while she does not know specific commands, she can be won over with offers to pet her at almost any time! She loves to take walks with you instead of riding in a car.
