Meet Joker! 🃏🐾 Joker is a 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier weighing about 11 pounds of personality, charm, and pure joy. This happy-go-lucky little guy is the definition of a companion dog — he loves his people and is happiest when he’s being snuggled, held, and included in everyday life. Joker was found as an unclaimed stray wandering the streets of St. Louis, but those days are behind him now. He’s since been fully vetted with a clean bill of health and is ready to start his next chapter in a loving forever home. He walks nicely on a leash and has done great with kenneling, especially when kept on a consistent routine. Joker was also a rockstar at his grooming appointment, showing just how easygoing and cooperative he can be. Joker is great with dogs, cats, and people of all sizes, making him a wonderful fit for many homes. He truly enjoys companionship and has a fun-loving, affectionate personality that makes him easy to fall in love with. The only thing to note is that Joker can occasionally resource guard food, so feeding him in his kennel or in a more structured setting is recommended—especially in homes with children—to set everyone up for success. Overall, Joker is a sweet, silly, and loving little pup who just wants a safe place to land and a family to call his own. After everything he’s been through, he deserves nothing less. Joker will come with a collar, leash, toy, two food bowls, some food, and a copy of all his medical and microchip information. His adoption fee if $600 is tax-deductible and includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm testing and treatment, and microchip.
