Hammy is your classic gentle giant—with a heart just as big as he is. He loves everyone he meets and is especially patient and tender with children, making him a truly trustworthy family companion. At 8–9 years young, he’s healthy and happily living his second chapter. His favorite things? Long naps on the couch, soaking up the sunshine, and riding along as the ultimate passenger prince. He also has playful bursts of energy and loves romping around the yard—especially with his foster brother, Apollo. Hammy already knows “sit,” “shake,” and politely waits for his meals until he hears “free.” He’s currently working on his leash training and doing amazing. After time in and out of the hospital and receiving the care he needed, he’s now fully recovered with no ongoing issues—happy, healthy, and ready for his forever home. He gets along well with other dogs, adores people, and has so much love to give. He’s the kind of dog who will be your shadow, your couch companion, and your sunshine buddy all in one.
