About Jack
Jack has weathered a lot. His former owners couldn’t keep him and he’s bounced in and out of the shelter more times than you’d guess. Through it all, he’s held onto a calm strength and can handle what life throws at him. He’s a senior pit bull mix who gets along with everyone, from toddlers to grownups. He’s overdue for stability and some quiet, normalcy outside the shelter. Jack would fit into nearly any family, big or small. He’s a true snuggler, always ready to cozy up on the couch for a movie, and generally enjoys just chilling in a living room. He isn’t a fan of cats and likely wouldn’t do well living with them, but he’s handled meeting mellow dogs before and could pair up with the right canine housemate. Meet and greets for potential dog siblings can be arranged at the shelter. Jack’s time is running short. Giving him a stable home changes everything—not just for him, but for you. If you’re ready to do right by a dog who’s earned a little peace, don’t let Jack slip by. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
