Neutered Male 1.5 Years Old 57 Pounds $175 Eeyore is a 1.5-year-old neutered male Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love just waiting to shine. Life has been a little overwhelming for this sensitive boy—he came to us as a stray, so his past is a mystery—but it’s clear he’s still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. Eeyore can be very nervous and startles easily, often preferring to tuck himself away when things feel scary. But beneath that timid exterior is an incredibly sweet and affectionate dog. With patience, soft voices, and a few tasty treats, Eeyore slowly begins to open up. Once he trusts you, his loving personality truly blossoms—he adores gentle petting and will happily soak up all the attention from his favorite people (he really can’t get enough!). He may pull a bit on the leash at times, especially when he’s unsure, but with consistency and reassurance, he has great potential to grow into a confident companion. Eeyore is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. If you have a kind heart, a little patience, and a lot of love to give, Eeyore just might be your perfect match. At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
