About 🍌 Chiquita “banana” —
🍌 Meet Chiquita “Banana” — The Sweetest Soul You’ll Ever Meet 🍌 Banana came to us from a Las Vegas shelter—past her euthanasia deadline—and from the moment she arrived, we knew she was something truly special .💛 She is, without a doubt, one of the most gentle, loving German Shepherds we’ve ever met. She adores people, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and has zero aggression—just a soft, kind heart. 💛 Personality Exceptionally gentle and calm Loves people and companionship Quiet, affectionate, and low-key Walks nicely on leash Friendly with other dogs Banana is the kind of dog who just wants to sit beside you and be loved. ⚠️ Special Needs (Please Read) Banana has severe noise-triggered anxiety. Loud environments overwhelm her Barking, whining, or squeaky toys cause extreme distress In high-stimulation settings, she will panic and try to escape She DOES NOT have separation anxiety, just noise induced. We have consulted multiple specialists, and this is not something that can be trained away. Medications have not been effective, and we do not want her living sedated. 👉 The solution is simple—but critical: Banana needs a quiet, low-stimulation home. 🏡 Ideal Home Calm, peaceful household (this is essential) Mature adopter(s) or low-activity home Minimal noise, no chaos No active or high-energy dog environments A place where she can truly relax and feel safe 🩺 Health Hip dysplasia (managed with pain medication) Does not require much exercise but LOVES walks Mobility accommodations (ramps/steps) can be provided 🐾 Why Banana? It’s heartbreaking to see such a gentle, loving dog overwhelmed by an environment she simply can’t handle. Outside of the noise triggers, Banana is calm, happy, VERY social, and easy. She deserves a home where she can finally exhale. 📩 Can you give Banana the peaceful life she deserves? Please contact us to meet her. We will happily help set you up for her success (including mobility support if needed).
