Meet Zelda , she is a little over 1 1/2 years old. She came into our care as a teen mom the summer of 2025, she was very shy and to herself. She has blossomed into a funny, sweet girl. Zelda does well with other cats, having a friendly and outgoing cat in the home will help her continue with her confidence. She is often found grooming one of the other cats in the room she stays in She is now asking for affection, on her terms of course. She comes up and arches her back asking for pets. She follows the other cats as they come to us. She is not a fan of being held, but she has come a very long way. ❤️Zelda is looking for a patient family, someone that will respect Zelda's boundaries and allow her to warm up on her terms. She would do best in a quieter home. Zelda stays in a community room with other adult cats and kittens, she has acclimated to new cats just fine. We know there is a calm home that will be purrfect for her. With more one on one time with someone she can bond to, she is going to be a great companion cat. If you are open to a pair, she does GREAT with Peachy, another previous teen mom that came from the same location as Zelda. Peachy is very outgoing and loving, so she is a great example for Zelda. We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Our dogs travel in comfort with 24/7 care.
