Cash is a confident, strong-willed guy who knows exactly what he wants in life. He has a dominant personality and would do best as the only cat in the home or possibly with another feline who matches his bold, self-assured energy. Cash enjoys observing his surroundings and taking everything in from his favorite perch or cozy hiding spot. He can be quite shy at times and often likes to tuck himself underneath furniture where he feels safe. He’s independent and prefers to seek attention on his terms but when he’s ready for pets, he truly enjoys them and is even okay with being held. This handsome boy isn’t afraid to use his voice either! He’ll let you know when he’s hungry with a clear meow, and while he may hide when he doesn’t need anything, he’ll make an appearance when it matters most. At night, Cash tends to get the zoomies and enjoys running around to burn off his energy. Future adopters should know he sheds quite a bit and has shown some escape-artist tendencies, so a secure home and mindful door habits are a must. Cash would thrive in a patient home that respects his independence, understands his dominant nature, and allows him the space to feel safe and in control. With the right match, he’ll be a uniquely rewarding companion who keeps life interesting. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file.  For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters. Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel.
