Handsome Hansel is a shy but loving companion. He spends a lot of his day hiding out and plays with all of his toys at night. As soon as you get him in your lap, he starts purring. He loves chin and back scratches and even invites belly scratches. Very healthy and well-behaved at the vet. He was rescued from behind a dumpster in Houston and has been in a socialization foster since October. He has made great strides and has started vocalizing more, but is still hesitant to approach people. He does well with other cats and would enjoy an energetic playmate. He is not currently around children or dogs, but has never shown signs of aggression.
