American Maltese Associaiton Rescue's foster, Kyro, is one energetic Maltese/Shih Tzu mix! He's not quite 1-year-old and the great news is he's ready for his fun furever family! As you can see in his video, this boy loves to play fetch with his toys and loves to be near his person and give puppy sugar. Kyro will be your shadow! He's 95% house trained and is extremely smart. He'll need a home with a very energetic family or person who will match Kyro's activity level!! The name Kyro means "Victorious One," but we think whomever adopts him will be the victor! He came to us as an owner surrender and had no trouble adjusting to his foster mom. He's a healthy 13-lbs, has been neutered, chipped and is up-to-date on his shots. Full bloodwork results were excellent, and heartworm and tick borne disease tests were negative. This cutie rides well in the car in his carseat. Kyro would probably be best in a household with either one other similar sized dog or as an only dog. He tends to boss around the littler ones.
