🔁 Reposting for #Pootie 🐾 Pootie is back with us… and our hearts are a little heavy tonight. 💔 He was adopted back in November, and unfortunately, through no fault of his own, he has been returned. Before anything else — we kindly ask for no negative comments. This boy deserves understanding, not judgment. What he needs most right now is a fresh start with someone who will truly see him. 🤍 Pootie is a big, handsome boy, around 70–75 pounds, a Mastiff Mix with a strong presence and an even bigger heart. And let us tell you… he was so well-behaved during his time with us. 🐾 Walks beautifully on a leash 🐾 Kind, gentle demeanor with people 🐾 Listens well and enjoys structure 🐾 Just wants to be near his humans He seemed okay with other dogs, but as always, a resident dog meet and greet will be required to ensure the best fit for everyone. 🐕 🐾 We have not cat tested him at this time 🐾 We are asking for a home with older, respectful children Like many dogs who have experienced change, Pootie may have a bit of separation anxiety. He will need a home that understands this and is willing to set him up for success , including a proper, heavy-duty crate and guidance on how to make it a safe, positive space for him. Crate training isn’t a bad thing… it’s a tool, and when done right, it can help a dog feel secure and settled. 🐶 What Pootie really needs is consistency, patience, and someone committed to giving him the stability he deserves. He’s not a “try it and see” kind of dog — he’s a “this is my forever” kind of dog. 🏡 We know his person is out there. Someone who won’t give up on him.
