Meet Stoney—the scruffy little sidekick with wiry hair, a huge personality, and a serious love for toys, treats, and cuddles. At around 1–1.5 years old, this mixed-breed mystery man (Jack Russell? Poodle? Shih Tzu? Pit Bull? honestly... your guess is as good as ours) is the perfect medium size and is 30–35 pounds. He came into rescue at just 21 lbs, but after good food, love, and some TLC, he's now thriving, neutered, fully vetted, and living his best life. Stoney's true superpower is other dogs—they're his confidence coaches, best friends, and personal hype squad. He absolutely needs a dog buddy in his forever home, and once another pup gives you their approval, Stoney is usually ready to make you his person. His favorite zoomie partner? His tiny 8-pound foster sibling. He's great with dogs of all sizes, cat-friendly, and would do best with older, dog-savvy kids who understand boundaries (no in-your-face kids). Stoney has become very trusting in his foster home and has really started to show off his fun, goofy personality. He loves to play, toss toys around, zoom through the house, and then curl up next to you for cuddles when the excitement is over. He's treat motivated, listens well, loves car rides, and is always ready for snack time. And speaking of food... Stoney takes meals VERY seriously. He eats alone in the kitchen with his slow feeder because if given the opportunity, he'd absolutely help himself to everyone else's dinner too. The boy does not believe in leftovers. When left alone, he may whine a bit, but he settles quickly. Once he bonds with you, he becomes the sweetest little shadow—playful, loyal, entertaining, and always nearby to supervise whatever you're doing. Stoney is looking for a loving forever home with another playful dog, lots of toys, plenty of snacks, and humans ready for a fun little best friend with a big heart and even bigger personality.
