King (approximately 47 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina. If you've been waiting for a majestic, glorious beefcake of a Husky, this is your boy! King is aptly named - most of the time he has a regal presence that is involved surveying his kingdom (which is pretty much everywhere he goes...King is sure the world is his kingdom). But get this boy into a play yard with some other dogs, and he becomes a prancing puppy who is delighted to play with his canines friends. He has been great with the dogs that he has met and he is very good at adapting his play style to adjust to his play mates. We have promised King that now that he's a Northern boy, he'll get to experience snow for the first time...just not until next year, LOL! But introducing this guy to a New England winter is going to be a ton of fun & we hope whoever adopts King sends us videos.
