About Cricket

Cricket (approximately 63 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina. She is super affectionate but not pushy, although she will jump up for hugs. Her foster mama has been working with her on that habit, though, and our intelligent miss Cricket has learned the sit command and will respond to it with alacrity. Cricket was fostered with a male dog and got along with him very well - they even enjoyed playing together! She is fully house trained as well as crate trained, and while she is not thrilled with the crate, she tolerates it. In fact, she spends about 10 minutes every morning celebrating her release from the crate with happy spins and joyful howls. True to her Husky roots, she has a hidden singing talent that she will evidence for you when she's feeling happy or blue. Her foster parents did not have children in the home, but they report that Cricket was good with the kids that they introduced her to. She is a lovely lady who is ready to be someone's heart dog - come meet Cricket today! If you'd like to meet Cricket and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
