Sorrel is a very shy girl who is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and settle in at her own pace. She will need a patient and understanding adopter who is willing to give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. For Sorrel, that could mean several weeks of simply observing, decompressing, and learning that she's finally in a secure environment. But once she feels safe, Sorrel completely transforms. She becomes a total velcro cat who wants to be right by your side and soak up all the cuddles she can get. Because of her sensitive nature, Sorrel is looking for an adult-only home with no children. A peaceful environment is essential for helping her feel comfortable and confident. Sorrel would likely do best as the only pet, where she can have her space and routine undisturbed. However, she may be able to coexist with one very calm, low-key cat who respects her boundaries and doesn't seek interaction. It truly depends on the other cat's personality.
